Student Summer Membership

What happens to my Campus Rec membership during the summer?

Campus Recreation memberships are based on the university’s academic calendar; access is therefore granted based on student fees. In other words, your Campus Recreation membership is only active during quarters or semesters in which you are enrolled in classes and paying fees. If you are a continuing or incoming student not enrolled in summer sessions, you may purchase a membership to continue enjoying the ARC, Rec Pool and other Campus Recreation facilities and programs during the summer.

You may purchase your student summer membership in person at the ARC. The student summer membership is valid for purchase between 5/14/23 and 8/25/23 with a total cost of $140. Pricing will prorate based on the selected membership start and end dates within the following date range: 5/14/23 through 9/24/23. There is a minimum 30-day commitment for the Student Summer Membership. We do our best to keep membership fees low for students—our rates are extremely low compared to other public gym facilities in the area. In addition to ARC access, your Campus Recreation membership includes access to the Rec Pool and discounts to all other Campus Recreation programs.

Rec Card

Rec Cards are only available to Campus Recreation members who do not have a valid AggieCard or the ability to use the Campus Rec app. The Rec Card links to your Campus Recreation membership and can be utilized at both the Activities & Recreation Center (ARC) and Recreation Pool facility access points.

To request a Rec Card, email memberservices@campusrec.ucdavis.edu. Following your request, your account will be invoiced for the cost of the card. Once your invoice has been paid, forward the receipt to memberservices@campusrec.ucdavis.edu and our staff will print your Rec Card. Once you have been notified that your card has been printed, it can be retrieved from the Member Services desk at the ARC.

Prices

  • $5 charge for initial Rec Card
  • $10 charge for replacing a lost or damaged Rec Card

NOTE:

  • Campus Rec pass holders do not qualify to request a Rec Card, you must have an active recurring or annual membership
  • Members must have a valid photo linked to their member account
    • Members without a photo will be required to visit the Member Services desk at the ARC to take a photo prior to receiving their card
